The Oven Bake Element is an OEM replacement part for GE ovens. It is a critical component responsible for generating the heat necessary for baking and cooking food in the oven cavity. Hello Mary Lou. If only the bake element stopped working one of the possibilities is it's burned out. Here the the bake element that shows for your model number p/n AP2031084. You'll need to check if the physical dimensions of the old one are matching with the new one. When you click on the part on our website please read the comments. But before buying a new element you should first check it visually for damage and if there is no any, using a multimeter test the old one for continuity between its too terminals. If it reads as no continuity, replace the element. Keep in mind that it maybe something ells at fault, besides the bake element. Thank you.
