Puzzled October 13, 2015 for Model Number gtwn4250dows Washer is leaking, I replaced the shower head and the water valve. Thinking it was that , but it is still leaking looks like it is the temp sensor leaking where is snaps in? Could it be that??
1 Answer Puzzled, It is very possible for the water to leak out from the sensor. It is very possible for this issue to also be caused by high water pressure. If possible try to lower the water pressure and see if it helps with the leaking issue. Read More...

Joe September 01, 2015 for Model Number GTWN4450M1WS What does the probe sensor do exactly? My washer is leaking from either this sensor or a cracked funnel head. It seems to overflow when it mixes hot and cold water together but fills fine on just cold or hot. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
1 Answer Hello Joe. All the sensor does is reads the temp of the water hot and cold mixing together. If it is leaking, it sounds more like the funnel on the unit and not the sensor. Read More...
Debbie June 10, 2015 for Model Number GTWN5050M0WS Washer kicks into rinse cycle and DOES NOT stop filling with water and OVERFLOWS. Have had to purchase a shop vac. So the good ole days of putting your clothes in the washer and walking away is over. I have to stand there and wait for the desired amount of water to fill and then you have to manually agitate your clothing in the off mode then drain and spin. Because REMEMBER, it wont stop filling up with water. I have always owned G.E. products and have been very happy, the new HE washers... I hate hate hate it, not enough water to get your clothes wet during wash cycle, now with new problem, rinse cycle overflow. What part do I need to purchase for my washer and can I install it myself.?
1 Answer Debbie, You will want to check to see if the water stops filling if you unplug the unit. If it does then the most likely cause for the issue will be that either the pressure hose is clogged up or has a bad control board. The control board would be the most likely cause for this issue. The part number for the control board is WH12X10475. Read More...

Push them in and lift the main top. This will give access to the sensor. Also remove the control panel by removing 3 screws from the top back. Once removed roll the panel forward and the sensor wires will go in the hole and into the control panel. Read More...
