Mary May 15, 2015 for Model Number hydx100em1ww My dryer timer knob cylinder broke and have used pliers to turn it the last few times to turn the timer and cut it on with no problems. This last time the push button worked and turned the dryer on but it immediately stopped when released, it did that each time I pressed it for three times and now does not work at all. I have tried moving the timer knob to different locations and tried each location with no success. I am replacing the timer knob and insert but wondering if now the switch is not bad as well?
