Precious for Model Number GTDP280ED4WW I replaced the timer and the power switch on my GE dryer but it still doesn't start. The starter was burnt out and the timer knob had previously broken. Any idea what could be the problem now? I order both new parts from this site.
Answer Precious, For the unit to run the belt has to be in good shape and not broke, there is a belt switch on this unit. Also, there is a high limit and a thermostat on the heater housing that has to read closed on a continuity test and the door switch is the only things that will stop the unit from running.
