Larry S. October 08, 2017 for Model Number JB500D2HA Will this burner replace my WB30X346(3 in 1) if I only use the 8" coil setting?
1 Answer Larry, for safety reasons you would need to re-wire the unit to properly convert it over to a standard 8" coil element. This includes replacing the switch, wires and receptacle. Due to liability reasons we are unable to provide you with any instructions to covert the unit, thanks! Read More...

Fred M November 19, 2016 for Model Number Westinghouse KCB 30 Hi, my mom has an old electric range that she loves. It's a 1962? Westinghouse. As for model number, best we can find is KCB 30. The issue is that one of the two coils on the 8" burner doesn't work any more so we need a replacement. What would be the right part number. Much appreciated for any help you can provide. Thanks, Fred M.
1 Answer Fred, The part number for the 8" coil element on this unit is 5300123749 which unfortunately has been discontinued by the manufacturer with no suitable replacement available. Read More...
Doug December 28, 2015 for Model Number Hotpoint 107RF38F Hi. Mom has an old Hotpoint drop-in range needing a couple of new burners. Your part number AP2634783 looks like it will do the trick. May I ask the following? I have not taken the old ones out. Do the leads attach by clamping, screwing on, or do they require soldering? If soldering do they require anything special to be able to take the heat? That's all I need. Thanks. Doug

Veronica March 11, 2015 for Model Number J486 I'm having problems removing the current coil element--I lift it up to a 40 degree angle and attempt to pull it out from the receptacle, but I meet a lot of resistance. The videos make it look as if it should snap in and out rather easily. I think years of baked on crud might be causing the resistance--any other ideas or tips?
1 Answer Veronica, Make sure that there is not a screw holding this one in place but if that is not the case then you just pull it straight out. It could be stuck and may just need to pull a little harder. Read More...

Jeanie H October 30, 2014 for Model Number 30RK1 Hotpoint Customline Cooking Top Range I am looking for the 6" and 8" double ring burners for this 1960 vintage cooktop. The burners you have #AP2634783 and AP2027827 look like the burners with the glass or ceramic part. Do these come with the top ring assembly? Mine seems to be all one piece. Thank you.
