Mark January 10, 2019 for Model Number GTDX180ED6WW I need to know where, and what color wires on our model go to each component on the control panel. I need to know what color wires go to the start switch and what slots? I need to know what goes to the timer? Next I need to know what wires go to the cycle buzzer. I was replacing the rollers and bearing. I moved the dryer and wires disconnected from the few spots. Tried to follow schematic still missing something somewhere. Thank you mthiel3473@gmail.com
1 Answer Mark, on the timer, the wires are as follows: orange or orange/black wire to connection A, brown to connection C, red to connection B, yellow to connection X, and black to connection TS. There is a red wire on your push to start switch that would go to your cycle buzzer and the black wire from timer connection TS goes to the other connection of your buzzer. Please note that the cycle buzzer is not on all models for this schematic and there is not one showing in the parts diagram for this unit so the cycle buzzer may not be in there. Read More...
