Lori September 08, 2013 for Model Number VBSR3100B0WW The washer does not stop filling with water and overflows. What parts would be needed to fix this?
1 Answer Hello Lori. If you can stop the water from entering the machine by turning off the timer or unplugging the unit, you will need to look for a bad pressure hose or replace the pressure switch. If the only way to shut off the water is at the shut off for the water hoses, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit. Read More...
Patricia Meyer August 07, 2013 for Model Number MAH5500BWW We recently purchased a "Pure Wash" system that does not use the hot water. So we turned the hot water off at the machine. When the "PureWash" system failed and we tried to switch it back, the hot water would not stop running until we again shut the valve off.
1 Answer Patricia, Based on this information it sounds like the water valve solenoid WP22003245 is bad and would need to be replaced. Read More...
James June 15, 2013 Just this past month, GE washer has been leaking. The water fills up too much, but it doesn't come out the top. Instead it fills up just a little too much and when the agitation cycle begins watcher will run out the overflow tube and drip into the bottom of the washer and then onto the floor. I unclogged the pressure switch tube, and cut the ends to get a tighter fit. The pressure switch will work when I lightly blow into it. The problem is still continuing and if you all could help me I would appreciate it.
Mike June 12, 2013 for Model Number WDSR2080D6WW Hello I recently came home to a basement full of water and found it to be my washer not stopping filling. Upon inspection I found the two front damper straps broke and the hose to the pressure switch not connected. I replaced all 4 straps and reconnected the hose. Ran it once empty with no problems. I was just wondering if I should replace the pressure switch or just assume the the loose tub dislodged the hose causing my problem. Thanks
1 Answer Mike, The tub coming loose would have caused the pressure hose to pop loose and cause the flooding issue. Read More...

Tony April 09, 2013 for Model Number whirlpool ultimae care 2 When trying to do a load of clothes, my washer would not fill with water unless I adjusted the load switch back and forth between load sizes, then it started working and the water will not stop filling the washer now. In order to stop the water you must pull the timer out, then you must move timer ahead until it stops trying to fill with water, then after tha the only thing it will do is drain and spin. Whats going on ?
1 Answer Hello Tony. If adjusting the switch makes it start, you will need to order and replace the pressure switch on the unit. Read More...
Mike F March 28, 2013 for Model Number wdsr2080daww Washer drains but wont go into spin cycle all the time if you restart the whole cycle then it spins doesent matter what settings you use on the panel.
1 Answer Mike, You will want to check the pressure dome hose to make sure that it does not clog or kink. If this checks ok then it sounds like the water level switch WH12X10065 is not resetting. Read More...
