Brad M. for Model Number WM2277HW

On this washer there is a slight water leak coming from the bottom center of the washer. I think it is coming from the Motor Assembly, Pump on the right of the Pump Casing. However, I was disassembling it and got stuck on removing the Clamp Assembly (LOC K530) on page 45 of the service manual. It shows you need a special clamp tool which is not listed in the parts listing. Do you carry such a tool? Without this tool, the clamp is so tight I couldn't get it off with pliers so I could remove the front panel and observe the pump. Thanks!

Hello Brad, The door boot pliers are part number 383EER4001A. This is for the outer part of the door boot. If the inner door boot has to be removed and/or re-installed you will need part number 383EER4004A.

Hello Bob. 4681EA2001T is the part number for the pump for your unit. It is not a difficult replacement. If you cannot access it from the rear, you will likely need to remove the top and front panels of the appliance. This should reveal the lower cavity. If you need more help with the repair, you could visit the repair forum on our website. The technicians there would be able to offer more info. I will include a link to the forum in this message. I hope this info helps!
