For Lg Refrigerator Main Electronic Control Board (Part Number: OEM13350657)

Hello Maria, This can be a switch failing or the unit is not leveled properly or the doors are mis-aligned so the light switch can open properly when the door closes and the switch is supposed to open the circuit. If you post the model number we can get you the correct part number for the door switch.

Rita, With the keypad not working properly the most likely cause of failure would be the overlay which is the keypad for the unit.

Sulaiman, You will want to pull the upper left hinge cover to check to make sure that there is no loose or broken wires. If this checks ok then the main control board would be the issue.

Bob for Model Number LG Refrigerator, model LFX2591ST

Our LG Refrigerator has french doors on the refrigerator section and a freezer section in the bottom. We are having problems adjusting the temperature in the meats and vegtable drawers. The refrigerator section is too cold and causes the fruits and meats to freeze. We have repeatedly attempted to change the temperature of the refrigeration section via the electonic controlson the front door. It remains too cold. What do you recommend? The unit is about three years old.

Bob, You will want to check the damper that is located behind the multi-duct assembly MCZ54121501 in the refrigerator compartment. It sounds as if the duct is not closing when the temperature is where is should be. This would allow air migration back into the refrigerator compartment from the freezer and cause the crispers to freeze.

Tom S for Model Number LFX25960ST

Sometimes the dispenser lights flash and there is a clicking noise. It lasts for quite some time and them goes away. I can get the flashing to stop by holding down the lock button. Then the lights just stay on. I understand that is an issue with the control board, but I am not sure if that would be the main control board or something else. I thought I saw something about capacitors going bad (looking swollen). Please confirm what I should replace to fix the issue. Also I am unable to clear the months remaining on my filter. It stays at 2 (months). I am not sure if this is a different problem. Thank you for you help.

George, You will want to check the wiring at the top of the door first to see if there is a loose or broken connection. You will also want to check the main PCB to make sure that it is receiving signal back from the dispenser to allow the ice and water to work. The voltage should be 12 vdc and if you are not getting this then you will want to also check the dispenser control to make sure that you are getting 12vdc there.

Hello Doug. Based on the error code you provided, it sounds like the fan motor 5209JA1044A is bad and will need to be replaced in the unit. Hope this helps.
