The Main PCB Assembly is an OEM part for LG washing machines. As the central control unit, the Main PCB Assembly manages critical washer functions like water levels, wash temperatures, spin speeds, cycle times and more. It uses sensor input to monitor operations and ensure the selected cycle runs efficiently.

Causes of a bad Main PCB Assembly include electronic component failure from power surges, moisture damage, or simple wear over time.

Symptoms of a bad Main PCB include:

  • Cycles not starting or incomplete cycles
  • Inability to select or change cycles
  • Flashing error codes
  • Abnormal sounds or vibrations
  • Temperature control issues

This OEM replacement is compatible with LG and some Sears/Kenmore models

For Lg Main Pcb Power Control Board Assembly (Part Number: OEM17043318)

Jamie for Model Number WT1101CW

Hello! I have a LG WT1101CW and it's been up to some strange things lately. 1. On the rinse cycle, the washer fills completely no matter what size load is inside. It doesn't do this on the wash cycle. P.S. If we take any water out, it does it's little dance and refills anyway so it's smarter than we are. 2. At the end of the spin cycle, the motor cuts out and the chime plays. However, it doesn't stop on its own. Rather it spins down instead of catching and locking. I was going to replace the water sensor but that last bit seems a bit odd to me. Thanks!

Hello Jamie, if the water level sensor does not correct the problems, likely the main control board is failing.

Steve, it would be recommended that the washer level is checked to ensure that it has not become unlevel. It is also recommended that the rotor and stator assembly is inspected to identify if a bolt has loosened. It is possible that the main control EBR76262102 is causing this error, but the stator 4417EA1002K will need to be tested for resistance to ensure that it is not causing the issue. The stator would need to be tested when the washer power cord is unplugged and the windings should measure between 5 to 15O on each winding and should match each other within .2O.

John, You would check to see if the water valve for the bleach is being activated at the beginning of the rinse cycle. If it is and the bleach is not dispensing then check for clogging and if there is no clogging then the water valve would be the issue. If there is no power to the valve when the unit is supposed to dispense then the control would be the issue.

Chris for Model Number WT1101CW

My washer has been experiencing the same problem over the last few months, getting worse over time. I throw a load in, turn the washer on, select a cycle, and the washer will start to load sense, stop spinning after 5 seconds or so, and then nothing. The washer doesn’t start to fill, doesn’t throw a code; does absolutely nothing. I’ve tried unplugging, doing the reset with lid (open and close 6 times within ‘x’ number of seconds), and nothing happens. Does this sound like control panel issue?

Chris, based on the symptoms listed, and the fact that it will not indicate an error code, the most likely issue would be the main control not cycling properly.

Nelson for Model Number WT1101CW

Purchased this LG washer in 12/2013. Constant UE codes after a year of ownership. Now it shows UE codes even during a "tub clean" or a "rinse and spin" with no clothing load. Debating whether to take my losses and get a non LG product or try to fix. Any suggestions what this issue may be? The machine is level. Although there is a tiny wobble during the spin cycle as it picks up speed. Not a wobble that I think would cause the machine to give a UE code.

Nelson, you may want to check the suspension rods [AJK72909308] and the balance ring [AAJ72909602] to ensure that they are working properly. The suspension rods can be tested by pressing the tub down as far as possible and then quickly releasing. Once released, the tub should rise up and set in place without bouncing up and down. If it does bounce, then the suspension rods are bad. The balance ring can be tested by rotating the basket by hand and then quickly stopping it, which should cause a sound similar to water sloshing around. This will indicate if the balance ring has the fluid in it to act as a counter balance when in a spin mode. The next item you may want to check is the hall sensor which is part of the stator [4417EA1002K]. At the main control, with the power disconnected, you will want to test at the connection BL4. Pin 1 to 2 should read between 8 to 12 ohms and pin 1 to 3 should read between 8 to 12 ohms as well.

Jeff, Unfortunately we do not have information on the firmware version that they have put on these boards.

John, If the pump is not getting power then this will likely be a faulty main control board. The board does have a fuse on it but would not be replaceable separately.

Rick, You will want to make sure that the board was wired properly and also make sure that there is power going into the control board. If this checks ok then it sounds like you may have gotten a faulty board.

Lacisha, We would need to have to model to assist properly but this issue sounds like the start button may be broken or just not making contact. This would most likely be in the user interface.
