Robin October 22, 2011 for Model Number WM2277HW I have an 'LE' Error Code which is related to the Hall Sensor but when I removed the Rear Panel I noticed the Plastic Armature/Casing is broken that houses the "Sensor Assembly" (aka Ball Sensor) which mounts on the Lower Right Rear Corner (when standing behind the Washer). 1st Question: Is the Plastic Armature included with the Sensor Assembly/Ball Sensor (if not, I need the part number)? 2nd Question: I have a Digital Multimeter and need to know if I can check the Sensor Assembly (aka Ball Sensor) for AC/DC Voltage and Continuity/Ohm's (indicate which terminal pin's and/or colored-coded wire's to check) with a Multimeter?
1 Answer Hi Robin. The Rotor that is broken is part # AHL72914402. The RPS sensor is part # 6501KW2002B. Thank You. Read More...
Lisa June 30, 2011 for Model Number WM2277H Washer will wash and rinse, but won't spin. Gives UE, unbalance error. We have balanced over and over. The washer itself, the clothes inside it, still does that. We did find out that it had been leaking from the hot water hose and dripping down onto the sensor assembly (I think that is what it is called) and it looks corroded so we are assuming it needs replaced.
1 Answer Hello Lisa. If the loads are not getting unbalanced, you will need to replace the sensor assembly 6501FA2462E. This is the sensor for an unbalanced load on the machine. Hope this helps. Read More...
Lee May 04, 2011 for Model Number WM0532HW LG Front Load Clothes Washing Machine What does this part sense? We keep getting an OE code (?) blocked discharge hose. We've cleaned the filter and cleaned the hose and we still have the same issue. It seems to happen mainly at the start of the rinse. I don't know if i have a door interlock issue or a pump failure. Please advise.
1 Answer Hello Lee. The is the out of balance sensor. You will need to remove the pump from the machine and see if something is stuck inside the pump assembly. If not, you will need to replace the drain pump 4681EA2001T. Hope this helps. Read More...
