Mikr March 11, 2024 for Model Number Wm2277hw lg front loader washer Keep getting UE code on final spin.so far replaced lid switch,hall sensor an still same result. Now I even took plastic casing off front half of the drum an found a metal brick layer plum line tool in the rubber hose that drains the water from tub to pump.it wasn't there before I took the casing off the drum but was there after moving washer around an tsking apart multiple times.so now im waiting on a new drain line to come because that put a whole in it after weight from the tub was off the springs an shock absorbers. But I don't think the little plum line tool was the original cause of the UE code because thst tool was last seen 3 years ago lmso so it's been setting in there a long time.water drained fine washer is level ,legs are not wobbly at all etc. Like I said lid switch I did 1st sense that was a little broke. After thst I did hall sensor on stator that didn't make a difference. Once the drain line gets here in a day or 2 I'll put it on to see if the tool was the cause but like I said it's been there for years. Last thing I'm thinking is vibration sensor to finally get it to stop throwing UE code. Any info or guidance ??
1 Answer Mike,UE error means the load is unbalanced. This can happen if the load is too small, or too large, or if you are not washing like items to keep it balanced. If these are not the causes you could have an issue with the springs or shocks or the machine may not be level. It could also be a weak foundation (floor). Micah March 15, 2023 for Model Number WKEX200HBA I am getting an error code for the vibration sensor (part #6501FA2462C). The LG tech verified and ordered the part to ship to my house. Said he would be back in a few weeks once he could find help to remove the dryer but in the meantime if I didn't want to wait I could change the sensor myself. I've removed the top and back panels but can't locate the sensor. Looking for direction on its location?

1 Answer Fernando, The "UE" error code in the display indicates an off balanced load. The "bE" in the diagnostics mode indicates a problem in the 4811ER3001A / 4811ER3001A Off Balance Sensor/Bracket. Jeff Y January 06, 2018 for Model Number LG Washer WM1812CW In diagnostic mode the washer spins all speeds freely but in normal use the washer will not spin to rinse. it agitates when washing but just buzzes when it should be spinning does this sensor have anything to do with the washer knowing when to spin.

Denise December 28, 2016 for Model Number LG washer WT4870CW Washer begins the rinse and spin but inevitably Iwill flash uE code and fill up with water. It repeats this water and rinse again, even the time increase from 6 minutes to 18 minutes or 18 to 27 and this repeats. The machine appears to be balanced and it will do this even when I clean the tub and it's empty. Any suggetions?
1 Answer Denise, " our new program displays uE, which is not an error. “uE” (small “u” / upper case E”) indicates the washer is attempting to balance the load up to 3 times if necessary. A “uE” indicator will alternate with the time display. After 3 attempts to balance, error code (UE) will display. When there is an unbalanced load, the washer will try and redistribute the load by refilling the washer with a necessary amount of water. This action is not a rinse, but is an attempt by the machine to balance the load." Recheck and make sure the washer is level in both directions and the feet are on solid floor/footing. The run the washer through a rise/spin cycle and check for proper high spin speed. If the problem persists then check the wiring and replace the RPS sensor on the motor stator. Read More...

Sparkyd1 December 29, 2014 for Model Number wm3001hra *****Need help!! Super challenge******* I have a 5-yr old wm3001hra LG front load washer that is having a balance issue. When it first starts to spin at lower rpm cycles, it sounds terribly out of balance at first making a thump-thump-thump noise as the tub assembly contacts the front panel. It then evens out and spins properly. I have replaced the drum bearings/seal, spider arm and all three shocks with no effect - the drum seems to rotate fine within the tub assembly. The washer is very level on a concrete floor where it has been since day 1. It is very clean and kept in great shape with no apparent signs of hardware failure. There are no errors or out-of balance messages from the control panel. When you look at the tub assembly from the top or rear during the cycles, you can see it lunges forward toward the front panel for the first lower rpm spins before settling out at higher speeds. I need to find out what could possibly be causing this especially with the parts I've replaced. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
