Mary April 25, 2015 for Model Number WM2032HW I bought the Hall sensor after my machine would not rotate and displayed the LE code. We also cleaned out the drain. Machine worked for a couple of loads, but it is stopping and displaying the LE code again. Cleaned out the drain again, it had some fuzzy stuff in it. But it will not work. Machine is 11 years old and I am wondering if it is time to replace it. The rest of the interior looked good when we replaced the hall sensor.
1 Answer Mary, Check the rotor and stator to make sure that there is no damage to them. IF they check ok then the issue will either be the wiring or the control board. Read More...
Renee March 28, 2015 for Model Number LG washer WM1832CW The FE code comes on when the cold water is filling and the water will not shut off. I have to turn the water off manually and restart the cycle. My husband is pretty handy and can repair it, but not sure what needs repaired. Can you help?
1 Answer Renee, You will want to unplug the unit when the water will not stop and see if the water stops flowing. If the water stops then the issue will be with most likely the pressure switch. If the water does not stop then the issue will be the water valve. The pressure switch part number is 6600FA1704X and the water valve is 5220FR2008C. Read More...
Michelle February 24, 2015 for Model Number WM2487HRM I was having a problem with the Fe code appearing on machine and the water would keep filling in the machine so I would have to turn off the water valve and restart the cycle. I did this for a few weeks until one day it just went totally dead . No lights..nothing...I wrote to you guys and you recommended the water valve and PC board so I purchased the hot and cold valve and PC board and put them both in. It worked for a day
1 Answer Michelle, You will want to test the power coming into the unit at the noise filter and make sure that there is 120 vac going into and out of the noise filter. If there is power going in but not out then you would want to replace the noise filter. If there is power in and out then test the main control board to make sure that there is power to the board. If this checks ok then it sounds like the control board is faulty. Read More...
Thomas January 28, 2015 Greetings, I recently purchased a rotor position switch from your website. What will be the next part needed to be replaced, if the LE error code comes back on & shuts off the LG - TROMM washer? Thanks, Tom
1 Answer Hello Thomas. You will need to order and replace the wiring harness on the unit. Then if the issue continues, check and make sure none of the magnets in the rotor are cracked. Last would be the board. Read More...
Nicolas January 27, 2015 for Model Number WT5101HV LG washer not spinning & shows LE error code. Turn off the machine for few minutes & rerun it again but still have the same problem. .Replaced the motor stator assembly(4417EA1002K-try to rerun it but still the same. What do u think is the problem? Is it possible that the stator assembly is not defective?
1 Answer Nicolas, The most likely cause for the LE error code would be that the RPS sensor part number 6501KW2002B is faulty and would need to be replaced. Read More...
Tommy January 22, 2015 for Model Number WM2277HW Hi I seen the video about replacing bearing and seal also had to buy new spider as it was falling apart ,did step by step with video and got the washer all stripped down ordered parts from you guys got then within 2 days great video and great shipping .I put the washer altogether and put a wash in worked great till the spin cycle code UE the last 10 min left of cycle I looked to see what the code was is unbalance checked the tub moved it around and it moves ok please help thank you for the help in advance.
2 Answers Tommy, There are 2 springs that go at the top of the tub and attach to the cabinet, you will want to make sure that these springs are in the correct position as they can cause the unit to get off balance. Also check the shocks on the unit to make sure that they are in place properly and not damaged. Read More...

Lynn November 14, 2014 for Model Number WT5101HV Error code PE, I think it is the Water Level Sensor? if so, can we buy the part & do it ourself?
1 Answer Lynn, The PE error code represents that the pressure switch has either a bad connection or has failed. Check the connections at the pressure switch and at the blue 4 pin connector at the main board. Test the pressure switch in test mode. If the initial reading is less than 60 or more than 104 the switch has failed and must be replaced. Read More...
Wayne Dorbert September 23, 2014 for Model Number WM2301HW When operating through a wash cycle the drum will not agitate back and fourth (going in one direction then back in the other direction) and when it tries it makes a loud clanging noise. But once it gets past the agitating cycle it spins fine. I did take off the rotor assembly and found that the plastic spline seamed to be worn. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you
1 Answer Wayne, The most likely cause for the unit not rotating properly would be a faulty main control board. You would want to change the rotor for the splines being damaged. Read More...
