Robert June 12, 2014 I have an Amana dehumidifier about 4 years old. The fan continuously runs but collects no water. Cleaned the fins and filter, and no frost on coils. What I think is the compressor (tall black) is warm. Could the problem be a sensor or something worth fixing?
1 Answer Robert, To properly assist you we will need your model number to help you with this. Please post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx Read More...
David May 29, 2014 for Model Number 580.52300200 I have a Kenmore dehumidifier ,comes on but the fan wont run. It was coming on once in a while. now wont come on at all. Compasitor? sensor? any ideas. Model # 580-52300200 Thanks, Dave
1 Answer David, With the units fan not coming on, the most likely cause would be a faulty capacitor. You will want to check the capacitor by doing a resistance check. Discharge the capacitor. Let it sit for a couple of minute then do a resistance check. The capacitors resistance should drop when doing the check. If not then the capacitor is bad. Read More...
Heshel May 20, 2014 for Model Number ZD30 I am trying to find a sensor assembly for my Zenith ZD30 dehumidifier. I type in the model number and I get what seems to be the right part; but when I check for compatibility, the message comes up that the part is NOT compatible with the model number. I have been told that the part number is AP4652359. When I type that in, I get the same part as above, and again it comes up as incompatible. Can you help me out so that I can order the right part? Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Heshel! If your full model number is ZD30, the sensor assembly 6877A30013V is the correct replacement and will fit your Dehumidifier. Thanks! Read More...

Eric April 13, 2014 for Model Number LD651EBL My dehumidifier displays a CH 67 error code. If I unplug the unit, it will run for a short time and then stop displaying a CH 01 with the full bucket light as well. Any/all help is appreciated. Thank you, e.
1 Answer Hello Eric. The CH67 code is generally related to either a fan motor failure or a blockage to the air inflow. It is recommended to check the filter, and make sure that none of the vents are obstructed. If this does not resolve the matter, then the unit may require a new control board or new fan motor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Bruce April 04, 2014 for Model Number LG Model: LHD65EBLY8 My LG dehumidifier seem to be running continuously. I run the unit in a preset percentage of 70, and even when the room humidity is lower than this, it remains running and does not cycle on and off as it used to. Otherwise, the unit seems to be working properly.
1 Answer Bruce, The most likely cause for the unit running constantly would be the sensor 6877A30013V not reading properly. Read More...
