David for Model Number 580.52300200 I have a Kenmore dehumidifier ,comes on but the fan wont run. It was coming on once in a while. now wont come on at all. Compasitor? sensor? any ideas. Model # 580-52300200 Thanks, Dave
Answer David, With the units fan not coming on, the most likely cause would be a faulty capacitor. You will want to check the capacitor by doing a resistance check. Discharge the capacitor. Let it sit for a couple of minute then do a resistance check. The capacitors resistance should drop when doing the check. If not then the capacitor is bad. Read More...
