Barton July 01, 2022 for Model Number LFX25976SW01 The ice in the ice maker bin keeps clumping up and the ice cubes start sticking together. I have lowered the temperature in the freezer to -1 degrees to possibly keep the cubes colder and it helps a little but doesn't solve the problem. Any suggestions welcome. Thank you Bart G.
1 Answer Barton, A couple of possibilities would be that the ice door is slightly open from a piece of ice lodged in the chute. Another possibility could be some leaking when the ice maker cycles. William January 05, 2021 for Model Number LFX28978SB/00 I replaced the mullion spring last April. Since then the plastic spacer seem to have worn down or the ends split.New ones didn't come with the spring and they don't show on the door parts breakdown. The spacer is only on the upper spring end on the mullion side. Is it available?

Dan M January 22, 2020 for Model Number LFX28978ST /00 I ordered a mullion spring MHY62044103 after searching on my model number, but apparently the /00 after the number is important, since this spring is wound the wrong way, so needs to be returned. According to your site, the MHY62044106 spring is not compatible either, yet another repair parts site lists this as the factory replacement part for my model. Can you verify one way or the other if that spring will work, or do I have to pay $91 for an entire mullion when all I need is a $5 spring?

Dan October 17, 2019 for Model Number LFX25974ST The spring on the door broke. I do not have the spring any longer. I purchased MHY62044106 but it appears to have to many springs in it. I can get it in but the flap does not lay flat as the spring twists to fit into the space. Is there a different spring for this model?
