Barton for Model Number LFX25976SW01 The ice in the ice maker bin keeps clumping up and the ice cubes start sticking together. I have lowered the temperature in the freezer to -1 degrees to possibly keep the cubes colder and it helps a little but doesn't solve the problem. Any suggestions welcome. Thank you Bart G.
Answer Barton, A couple of possibilities would be that the ice door is slightly open from a piece of ice lodged in the chute. Another possibility could be some leaking when the ice maker cycles. You can remove the ice bucket to observe the chute area and you also can force the ice maker to cycle and watch it as it does to check for any water leaking. Read More...
