The Refrigerator condenser cleaning brush is an OEM accessory designed for refrigerators. This 28-inch nylon bristle brush helps remove dust and debris buildup from condenser coils located at the back or bottom of refrigerators. Regular cleaning of condenser coils is important for heat transfer and efficient operation. Over time, dust and dirt buildup acts as an insulator, forcing the compressor to work harder. Using the correct condenser cleaning brush allows for the thorough yet gentle removal of contaminants without risking damage to delicate coil fins.

Symptoms of a dirty condenser include higher than normal energy usage, extended run times, higher interior temperatures, and eventual compressor failure if left unattended for extended periods. This refrigerator condenser cleaning brush is compatible with all refrigerator models.

Hello. The defrost drain freezing up is a common issue and is not necessarily related to the ice maker. The water comes from the defrost water which is where the frost is melted off of the evaporator coils. Once you clear the drain you should run a piece if weed eater line through it to insure nothing has dropped into the drain, otherwise the drain may refreeze. If the ice maker is still producing, the water is not coming from there. As long as the drain is chased with the weed eater line. you have cured the problem. I would still pour about 2 tablespoons of white vinegar in the drain to prevent algae formation in the drain trap. I hope this was useful information for you and have a great day!

Travis for Model Number Amana- Distinctions Side by Side Refrigerator

My refrigerator stays cold, but the compressor doesn't know when to shut off. When I turn the temperature control down it cycles off, but within minutes the compressor turns back on and doesn't shut off. I have turned the defrost timer to try to cycle it off also, and it works. I have cleaned underneath the unit and behind. Not sure what is going on here? This may be a repeat question cause I didn't see it post when I hit the button below- Sorry!

Bill, It's a simple check if you have a multimeter TJMA-DMT3 . Turn the power off to the water heater, remove the cover panel, and the interior cover, disconnect the wires at the elenment terminal and check for a "Closed" circuit. One indication of an open element is, the hot water is not as hot as usual or the hot water doesn't last as long as usual. You could also turn off the power, turn off the water and drain the tank. Then remove the elements and visually check for a broken, detiriorated element(s) as well. Good Luck

Hello Aquiles! Is the icemaker filling with water? If not, make sure that the fill tube is not frozen. If it is not frozen, check and replace the valve WR57X33326. If the icemaker if filling with water, make sure that the freezer is freezing properly between 0-5 degrees. If it is freezing properly, replace the ice maker WR30X10093. Thanks.

Hello James. The first part you would want to check is your thermostat. If this part fails, the unit will not get the signal to the compressor telling it to turn off. You may also want to find your condensor coils (usually on the back or bottom of the appliance) and make sure those are clean. I hope this info helps.
