Bumpy C. January 07, 2015 for Model Number RS267TDRS My ice maker is only dropping ice when I press the reset/test button. Ice will make and drop, and I second batch is made, but not dropped until after I press the reset/test button again. I have tried both emptying the ice bucket after the test batch and leaving the ice in after the test batch with the same results. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Bumpy, Since individual parts are not available, you will have to replace the assembly DA97-11095E. Read More...
Mac November 01, 2014 for Model Number RS267TDBP/XAA-0000 I replaced my refrigerator mainboard because it wasn't getting cold on the refrigerator side and it's still not getting cold. Does something else need to be done besides connecting the mainboard? Is there some kind of code I need to punch in?
1 Answer Mac, The control board does not need to be programmed to the refrigerator. If it is just the refrigerator side that is not working then you will want to check the evaporator coil on refrigerator side and make sure that it is not impacted with ice. If so then you need to test defrost sensor to make sure that it is not faulty. Also check the defrost heater. Read More...
Jim August 16, 2014 for Model Number RS267TDRS/XAA-0000 Samsung refrigerator: Water and ice dispenser does neither. I replaced the water solenoid which feed water to both ice tray and cool water outlet after the filter. While I had the water solenoid off I blew air through the system and both water and air came out the dispenser. I thought this shows the tube not frozen. I also replaced the filter. Earlier we had techs out for a "warm" refrigerator and proper temperature freezer. The refrigerator evaporator had iced, apparently rendering the thaw cycle in-operative. Both sides now have proper temperature. The water bottle is about half full of water. When I press the water dispenser a hum or click of the solenoid can be heard but no water comes out. Twenty-four hours ago we thought by now we would at least get ice but nope. I've blown a hair dryer for about an hour on the door to see if the water to the ice cube tray would fill nope. I'm about out of things to see. Would a water dispenser board cure these issues? Where is the water dispenser board? In freezer door, behind unit, or where?
1 Answer Jim, The dispenser board would have nothing to do with the unit not getting water going to the ice maker or dispenser. The most likely cause for the issue would be a bad filter head assembly not allowing the water to flow through it. Read More...

1 Answer David, This issue sounds like it would be caused by a faulty dispenser control board which is part number DA97-08703L. Read More...
Eric August 02, 2013 for Model Number RS267TDRS My Samsung refrigerator is not cooling on the fridge-side. At first it was because the temperature was reading incorrectly on the digital panel. After unplugging the temperature was correct and worked for a week. The problem started again and we noticed no air circulation on the fridge-side and temperature was stuck around 52 degrees. I had a technician come out and his thought was at first the evaporator fan needed to be replaced. Further tests he discovered everything was fine except the power to the fan and the PCB Main would have to be replaced. After he left I double checked his work with my meter and everything seemed fine including the fan. In fact I plugged the fan back in and saw it operating. I then did the diagnosis on the control panel (holding down the buttons) with no codes (no issues). I cleared the frost on the evaporator with a hair dryer, put everything back together and the refrigerator seemed to be working. The next day the temperature read 34 degrees on the control panel for the fridge and it was actually 52 degrees inside. I went ahead and ordered the PCB Main (DA41-00670A). Does this sound like the issue? Also, how hard is it to replace myself? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Eric. No, the reason for the fan stopping is the evaporator is not defrosting and the fan motor is getting iced up based on the information you provided. You will need to replace the evaporator assembly DA96-00020Q which requires an HVAC tech. Read More...
