1 Answer Hello Brownie, You should check for the following: • Lint buildup around drive motor. • Low voltage present. • Blower impeller blocked in blower housing. • Drive motor - start switch contacts stuck closed. • Clogged lint screen. • Restricted vent system. • Check Thermistor resistance. Also check at the wall outlet and the terminal block for loose connections. Read More...
Louis S April 18, 2017 for Model Number DV45H7000EW/A2-0000 I set my dryer to time dry for 60 minutes. When it gets to 59 minutes it goes right to 1 minute left and then turns off after that minute and it doesn't heat up. It does the same thing on any setting. Runs for 1 minute jumps to 1 minute left and then turns off. Never gets hot.
1 Answer Louis, The part number that would be needed for this issue would be the main PCB DC92-01626B. Read More...
Ssnyder December 07, 2016 for Model Number DV45H7000EW/A2-0000 Have a Samsung dryer having several issues that started all at once: 1) Dryer does not stop running. The only way to step is opening door or unplugging the dryer, 2) Dryer is not heating when it is running, and 3) The timer does not move. Changed the mode to timed dry and no change. Am trying to determine if this is a bad board that needs to be replaced. ThankS!
1 Answer Ssnyder, With the issues that are occurring with this unit, the main control board would be the most likely cause of failure. Read More...
Keith H November 23, 2016 for Model Number DV45H7200EW/A2-0000 Dryer runs continuously, even without engaging on/off button. It stops by opening door or unplugging from receptacle. As soon as door is closed or plugged back in it starts tumbling. Controls appear to work and it does heat up. When timer gets down to 1 minute remaining, it runs indefinitely with 1 minute showing on the display. What's wrong with it?
1 Answer Hello Keith. It sounds like the main control board is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...
