Jose November 05, 2019 I have a Samsung dryer MODEL # DV45H7000EW?A2. It is not heating, all sensors are good. I replaced the pcb DC92-01626B. IT LOOKS LIKE THE HEATING ELEMENT RELAY IN THE PCB IS NOT CLOSING TO ACTIVATE THE HEATING ELEMENT. IF I BYPASS THE RELAY WITH A WIRE THE HEATING ELEMENT COMES ON?
1 Answer Jose, It sounds like from the information provided you are likely to have a bad control assembly part number DC92-01626B Read More...
1 Answer Ralf, You will want to check the wiring between the main control board and the dispenser control board to make sure that the wiring is good. If this is good then check to make sure that the main control board is getting power to it. If there is power getting to it then this would likely be a faulty display board. Read More...
Kenny January 08, 2019 for Model Number Samsung DV45H7000EW/A2 My dryer runs and heats but will stop with an HE error . The entire heating element unit has been replaced as well as the thermistor, but continues to get an HE error most of the time that it is operating.
1 Answer Kenny, try removing the vent and running a load of clothes. If it dries ok without any error codes, you have some kind of restriction in the house venting. The HE error code will pop up if there is a restriction in the venting. Read More...
Jane December 06, 2018 for Model Number DV45H7000EW/A2-0000 I was told that the control board was bad. The unit has no power. It would work intermittently before then done. We replaced the control board still no power.
1 Answer Hello Jane, You should locate the terminal block in the rear of the unit and check for proper voltage, (power supply), to the unit. This or the wall outlet is the most common cause of this complaint if the thermal fuse is not open. Read More...
Jodie August 08, 2018 for Model Number DV45H7000EW/A2 I keep getting the error code HE so we replaced the heating element, the thermostat and the thermal fuse. Still getting the HE error after about 15 seconds. I checked my house breakers as suggested online and also the vent for clogs as suggested. Is the next step replacing the electronic control panel?
1 Answer Jodie, Possibly you have a clogged vent or a faulty thermistor.Thermistor is located by the thermostat on the duct assembly and should read 10k ohms at room temp.Thermistor is normally a black part. Read More...
Paul June 25, 2018 for Model Number Samsung DV45H7000EW/AC I had 3 problems with our dryer recently. A rumbling noise every time dryer runs. This was resolved by replacing the idler pulley. Dryer turning off after a few minutes. This was resolved by replacing the high-temperature thermostat. Dryer sometimes doesn't turn on. If I unplug and plug it back in, it works and runs a full cycle. Is the control board the problem with issue 3, or could it be something else? I've checked the cord and it is providing power to the dryer.
Jeff March 08, 2018 for Model Number dv45h7000ew/a2 Dryer was working fine just put another load in started it ran about 10 minutes and stopped unplug trying to reset all displays come on we can change the setting but when you press start you can hear a clicking noise but nothing?
1 Answer Jeff, You will want to check the venting of the dryer from the blower to the outside of the home to ensure that it is clear. Check the thermal fuse to make sure that it is good. Also check to make sure that there is no issue with the rollers causing the motor to overheat other wise this will most likely be a main control board issue. Read More...
Michael October 17, 2017 for Model Number DV45H7000EW/A2-0000 Recently replaced main board. Replaced all the fuses again. Dried for a couple loads...then no heat. Previously replaced heating element and motor. SOMETHING is causing the fuses to blow prematurely. So, I'm at a loss as to what to do now.
1 Answer Michael, You will want to check the venting of the unit from the blower wheel to the outside of your home as this will be the most likely cause for the thermal fuse to blow. Read More...
Shawn A September 03, 2017 for Model Number DV45H7000EW/A2-0000 The dryer runs but will not heat. I have replaced every sensor and the heating duct assy. As well as both control board looking for why this thing quits heating. It worked for a week and now back to runs w/no heat. Took it apart again looking for a bad connection or short. The high power switch in the control board melted including the Blue wire connected to it. I don't want to replace the board again until I know what fried it. any suggestions as to a direction to go in?
1 Answer Shawn, The most likely cause for the relay to melt would be a loose connection that overheated. Would recommend replacing the wire and make sure that all connections are tight. Read More...
Eddie July 04, 2017 for Model Number DV45H7000EW/AC Hi my dryer is completely dead will not turn on / no sound as if power is disconnected ( checked 240 volt is good ) is it the main board or could it be the control panel board ?
1 Answer Hello Eddie! You'll want to test your thermal fuse part number DC47-00016A for continuity. Also take a look at the broken belt switch part number 3405-001077 and the door switch part number DC64-00828B, thanks! Read More...
