Shawn A for Model Number DV45H7000EW/A2-0000 The dryer runs but will not heat. I have replaced every sensor and the heating duct assy. As well as both control board looking for why this thing quits heating. It worked for a week and now back to runs w/no heat. Took it apart again looking for a bad connection or short. The high power switch in the control board melted including the Blue wire connected to it. I don't want to replace the board again until I know what fried it. any suggestions as to a direction to go in?
Answer Shawn, The most likely cause for the relay to melt would be a loose connection that overheated. Would recommend replacing the wire and make sure that all connections are tight. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, September 8, 2017
