Brian May 17, 2021 for Model Number Samsung Gas Oven RangeNX58H5600SS I have a 2015 Samsung Gas Oven RangeNX58H5600SS that was having problems with the touchpad (some buttons no longer functioned); I replaced the pad with a Superunner Membrane Switch Touchpad DG34-00027B. It worked for about 3 weeks, and then I started getting error code SE with beeps. I attempted some resets, made sure touchpad was installed correctly with no luck. The touchpad may have gotten wet, but appears sealed from moisture...I then bought and installed a Range Oven Control Board DE92-02588J. It now works for about 6 hours then starts the SE code again. I have tried many resets; self cleaning, etc. with no luck. Is there a way to tell where the short is? I have a multimeter, but not enough info about what to test and how. My suspicion is the replacement touchpad was bad-but is there a way to test it rather than buy another? Please help-I am very frustrated and my wife is stockpiling way too much "I told you you couldn't fix it" argument ammo...
1 Answer Brian, the main control connection CN301 can be tested for a short between the pins on the connector. If there is a short, the main control DE92-02588J has failed. If there is not a shorted pin set, then the touchpad DG34-00027B is faulty. Read More...
Paul June 24, 2020 for Model Number NX58H5600SS/AA I have a propane samsung stove. The temprature when set to any degree doesn't seem to be reached. It stays at 150 degrees and does not get any hotter. I've replaced the hot surface igniter assembly back in April and it seemed to have solved the problem. Once again it started again. Could this part be defective? or is it something else that has gone bad? thanks
1 Answer Hello Paul, the new bake igniter should have lasted years. If it has the same problem as before , meaning it is glowing but the gas valve is not opening, test that the stove is getting 120vac in bake mode, if it is lower, say 110v that may be a problem as the igniter is rated for 120v to be able to draw 3.5 amps to open the gas valve. If that is not the problem check the bake burner tube DG62-00066A the glow igniter DG94-00520A, should be positioned parallel to the burner tube and the ports on the tube should not be corroded, the air shutter should be wide open (LP setting), because if the burner does not burn cleanly there can be a residue build-up on the igniter that will shorten its life. Richard January 08, 2019 for Model Number FX710BGS/XAC Our range oven will only heat up to about 100 degrees less than what we program it to before it stops heating and signals that the desired temperature has been achieved. I have already replaced the Thermistor but get the same effect. (We have checked this with an oven thermometer.) Do you think this is a mainboard problem? Could it be something else?
1 Answer Hello Richard, This can be caused by a weak ignitor DG94-00520A, a bad safety valve DG94-00449A, or the control board DE92-02588C if the oven temperature sensor DG32-00002B is good. Read More...
Richard May 04, 2017 for Model Number FX710BGS/XAC-0000 Oven warms up then go out and then I have a SE code show on oven display.
1 Answer Hello Richard. 1. Check if cable of keypad has been inserted into connector of main PCB. 2. Check for short between main PCB and connector or keypad and cable. 3. If there is not a problem with connector on main PCB and cable of keypad, replace the main PCB. Read More...
Gary March 18, 2017 for Model Number FX710BGS I have 2 things wrong with this oven now. The oven light did not work. I tested and swapped bulbs and even put my elect meter in the socket to test for power. None. Figured it was the circuit board switch but wasn't going to worry about it. Now I tried self clean and get an E-0E door lock error. I cannot reset and the lock light stays on constantly and then reverts back to error code. I believe its the circuit board. AP5653307. Do you agree?
1 Answer Gary, This issue would most likely be caused by a faulty control board which would be part number DE92-02588C. Read More...
Rudy March 01, 2017 for Model Number FX710BGS/XAC-0000 After plugging the oven the over is displaying the time 12:00 and then after a few mins it will beep and then display SE. It has been suggested to replace the display circuit board. Would you say that that may be the part that will remedy the problem.
1 Answer Hello Rudy. Based on the error code you provided, you will need to replace the membrane DG34-00017A on the unit. Read More...
Abe September 18, 2016 for Model Number Fx710bgs I need to replace the circuit board DE92-02588 for Samsung range fx710bgs. Is this as simple as disconnecting the wire connectors and reconnecting to the new circuit board? If not then what else do I need to do to ensure that it functions well? Samsung is insisting that their technician has to do this task and not the homeowner. Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Abe. Yes, it is that simple. They say that in case something gets shorted out or to make sure they are not hooked up wrong. You should be able to do it yourself. Read More...
