Brian for Model Number Samsung Gas Oven RangeNX58H5600SS I have a 2015 Samsung Gas Oven RangeNX58H5600SS that was having problems with the touchpad (some buttons no longer functioned); I replaced the pad with a Superunner Membrane Switch Touchpad DG34-00027B. It worked for about 3 weeks, and then I started getting error code SE with beeps. I attempted some resets, made sure touchpad was installed correctly with no luck. The touchpad may have gotten wet, but appears sealed from moisture...I then bought and installed a Range Oven Control Board DE92-02588J. It now works for about 6 hours then starts the SE code again. I have tried many resets; self cleaning, etc. with no luck. Is there a way to tell where the short is? I have a multimeter, but not enough info about what to test and how. My suspicion is the replacement touchpad was bad-but is there a way to test it rather than buy another? Please help-I am very frustrated and my wife is stockpiling way too much "I told you you couldn't fix it" argument ammo...
Answer Brian, the main control connection CN301 can be tested for a short between the pins on the connector. If there is a short, the main control DE92-02588J has failed. If there is not a shorted pin set, then the touchpad DG34-00027B is faulty. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, May 17, 2021
