Craig January 13, 2017 for Model Number DV5471AEW/XAA My dryer, is not generating any heat all, and wont shut off, even after pressing the power and pause buttons. The only way I can shut if off is by opening the door or unplugging it. It done this once about year ago, and I unplugged it and then it worked correctly afterward. Now after unplugging it and the plugging back in, it starts again without pushing any buttons. My first thought is, a control board. Is this correct?

Ed March 21, 2016 for Model Number DV5451AEWXAA My Samsung dryer will not shut off when the drying cycle is completed. Even when pushing the power button or unplugging and replugging it in. I think the problem might be a timer which I think is included in part number AP5578937. Does this make sense?
