Questions & Answers

For Samsung Icemaker Head (Part Number: OEM12503670)

Stan, The DA97-00258E ice maker head, will not work in the model number you supplied. The correct part number is DA97-05422A / DA97-05422A Ice Maker Assembly. It is a "sealed" or "complete" assembly and will need to be replaced as a "unit". Unfortunately, the part is out of stock at this time. It would require a few extra days(5 to 10) to order the part from the manufacturer and deliver it to you, once the order is placed. Thanks,

Mark for Model Number RS2630SH

I was looking for ice maker parts, and found this Icemaker head AP4167887. However, since I am not completely confident that this is the problem, I also followed the following link: For the complete ice maker assembly order DA97-02203H. I have 2 questions: 1) How come the complete ice maker assembly does not appear to be compatible with my refrigerator (RS2630SH), yet the wording prior to the link appears to indicate that it does? 2) If that is not the correct link for the complete ice maker assembly, does the correct part exist on your website? Thank you, -Mark

Hello Mark. The model number you provided uses the D series icemaker and not the E series. You will need to order DA97-00258D for the correct icemaker.

Hello James, This is most likely the water valve DA62-00914B not closing properly. This can be caused by the water valve failing, low water pressure to the unit from the home plumbing, or a sticking contact in the icemaker assembly DA97-02203G.
