1 Answer Hi Mike. You can remove the racks by removing the clips on the front rail. Then remove the upper clip or the screw that holds the upper lower and Middle arms. Then you will use warm sink water and a pick tool to remove the clogged debris in the ends of the spray arms. This will stop the cleaning. Are you using Jet Dry? This will help in spotting and drying. Then if you feel comfortable enough to remove the top section of the filter area at the top, inside of the pump /motor. This will access your inner filter you will clean and improve your satisfaction level. Also, you will need to consider using the newer type of soap. They have much better cleaning agents, such as "Cascade Complete" or "Finish" soap products. There are Dishwasher cleaning products such as "Dishwasher Magic" part # is TJ104. Thank you. Read More...
Bill July 18, 2011 for Model Number KUDIO2IR Dishwasher does not drain properly. We've checked the hoses for clogs. What next?
1 Answer Hello Bill. If the hoses are clear and the sump assembly is not clogged, you will need to replace the drain pump WPW10348269. Make sure the pump is getting power from the control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Jack H. June 25, 2011 for Model Number DU1100XTPQ Dishwasher makes a whining sound after fills and starts wash
1 Answer Jack, The "accumulator assembly plate" is basically the pump cover, you will need to remove it, inorder to access the interior components, that are making the noise. You most likely have something down inside the sump, chopper blade or protector. Hopefully not in the impeller, but possible Here's some help : Components inside the sump can be accessed without removing the sump from the dishwasher tub. 1. Remove the four (4) screws securing the soil accumulator from the sump base. 2. The soil accumulator will now lift free of the sump base.3. Remove the screw securing the foreign objects protector to the sump base and remove the protector. 4. Remove the screw securing the inlet protector to the pump base and lift the inlet protector out. 5. Remove the chopper assembly from the impeller shaft and lift it from the sump base. 6. The check valve, located between the wash motor and the drain can be removed with a pair of needle nose pliers.7. With the wash motor removed, the separation screen can be removed from the sump base.
