Pg January 24, 2021 for Model Number Kenmore Elite #13112K / Sump Cover & Filter Screen 8193918 Hello, I am having trouble with the top rack not getting clean - it is accumulating small food particles inside our glasses that is not there prior to washing. I notice on the Sump Cover and Filter Accumulator #8193918 everything looks fine, except for the adhesive to attach the fine mesh screen to the plastic frame - it has totally separated. Do you sell the proper adhesive to reattach this screen to the plastic frame? I've tried superglue and it failed fairly quickly.
1 Answer PG, We will need to have the model number of your unit to be able to assist with your question properly. Read More...
John April 08, 2018 for Model Number KUDS30IXBT1 Looking for a fix top rack dishwasher not cleaning. Is the chopper the problem? or filter assembly
1 Answer John, You will need to make sure that the filter assembly is clean but will want to open the sump assembly and make sure that the sump is clean. This would be the most likely cause for this issue that something is clogged or the impeller is faulty. Read More...

John September 05, 2016 Hi, my whirlpool quiet partner I and it started leaking from under the tub. When I poked around looking for the source of the leak part #15 from the exploded view diagram of the filter assembly (AP3609773) was lose and came free. I'm not sure where this piece does or how to put it back. Thanks
1 Answer Hello John. 15 is the sump locking clip. You slide it between the tub and the sump housing into the holes for it to slide into. Look for 2 more under the unit to see how they are installed. Read More...

Gid A. August 30, 2015 for Model Number Kitchenaid Dishwasher; KUDS30IXWH1 Our dishwasher has become noisy. I hired a repairman, who took off the top of the sump pump and told me I needed a new motor because the main bearing was worn out. I pulled the dishwasher; the 4-year-old motor was perfectly fine, but the capacitor nut was loose, allowing it to rattle. Problem mostly solved, though it is still fairly noisy during wash cycles.
1 Answer Hello Gid, The most common failure with this design is the chopper assembly W10083957V. You should remove and ensure the shaft, chopper, and spring are still one assembly. If this is not the issue and nothing is in the bottom of the sump where it can contact the impeller, the motor WPW10757217 is suspect. Read More...
