Mike August 02, 2018 for Model Number 22952100 is making a fun sound like a fan blade bumping will not spin but will drain almost all the water
1 Answer Mike, We will need the model number of your washer to properly assist you. It's not likely the 350733 Actuator, if it were the washer wouldn't drain, either. It's most likely the shift actuator and/or the "splutch" assembly not meshing and engaging properly making the noise and not spinning the basket . Read More...
Dennis August 20, 2017 for Model Number Maytag MVWX700XL2 I ran a diagnostic the error codes were F7 E1, F0 E5, F0 E2 & F1 E1. Problem with washer is during the spin cycle when the spin hardly moves. the cycle starts out OK but slows and makes noises like it wants to work but just does not spin. The remaining time also gets longer then shorter??? Most significant items here are Control Board failure and also a basket speed sensor fault. What do you recommend? Thank you
1 Answer Dennis, The most likely cause would be the shift actuator that is faulty and would need replaced. The speed sensor will be part of the shift actuator assembly and is part number WPW10006355. Read More...
1 Answer Alli, This actuator would be screwed into the top of the main top. You will want to remove the screw at the back of the corners of the control panel and roll the panel up in order to access the clips that hold the cabinet to the rear of the unit. Remove these clips to take cabinet off and then you can remove the old and install the new acutator. Read More...

John June 25, 2016 for Model Number 110-204-32-990 kenmore washer How do you replace the lid switch on this washer?
1 Answer Hello John, You will need to remove the console mounting screws and tilt the console into the service position. Then unplug the lid switch and remove the cabinet mounting clips by placing the flat blade of a screwdriver in the clips and pivot the handle away from you, removing the cabinet mounting clips. The cabinet will then lift forward and slide off of the unit base. The lid switch is accessed under the cabinet for replacement. Read More...
