Hello John, You will need to remove the console mounting screws and tilt the console into the service position. Then unplug the lid switch and remove the cabinet mounting clips by placing the flat blade of a screwdriver in the clips and pivot the handle away from you, removing the cabinet mounting clips. The cabinet will then lift forward and slide off of the unit base. The lid switch is accessed under the cabinet for replacement.
