Brigitte, the outer panel is not available separate from the doors. I believe your model should read GB2SHTXTS02 (2S instead of 25). The refrigerator door is part number 13023854SQ and the freezer door is part number 13092211SQ. Thanks.

John, The flexible material is allumilastic cement and is used for transfer of cold and heat to the thermostat and would not cause the cubes to jam. In a lot of cases the fingers themselves have warped and are catching causing it to hang up. Also check the large gear on the motor module for the pins being broken as this can cause the ice to not eject properly. Look for cubes that are too small or hollow as well.

Would this product be suitable for bonding a ceramic-encased thermocouple sandwiched between an aluminum heat sink on one side and an aluminum finned heat dissapator on the other side? The function is to allow heat transfer from the heat sink mounted in the cooling chamber to be fan exhausted to the outside. Ted, The Alumilastic, was designed for this specific purpose, to promote a positive, and constant transfer of temperature, and reduce the possibility of an air gap between the components. You should be fine if you use it, it can be messy when you apply it, but nothing you can't handle. Thanks

Hi Tim. Alumilastic cement is a food biodegradable cement mixed with aluminum particles. It is used in the control module (head) of Ice makers. Where the bi-metal thermostat is attached to the back of the mount assembly. It is used in between the "sensor" of the bi-metal and the mount face itself, to help transfer the sensing temperatures to the bi- metal more accurately. This part # is WP4317852. Thank you.
