A word of thanks to AppliancePartsPros - they delivered in one day. Ordered at 4PM CDT and received the part by noon the next day. Also, Alicia in the help department was able to locate an electrical diagram for my old freezer. This was essential for proper setup and her persistence in tracking down the diagram was top notch. Replace your refrigerator's fresh food door gasket to restore an airtight seal, prevent warm air leaks, and maintain efficiency. Confirm fit with your model.
Since the fridge was an older model, it had screws behind the gaskets. First, I removed the freezer door, then I loosened the screws and removed the old gasket. I then placed the new gaskets, corner first, then worked my way around the door until all sides was done. I tightened the screws. For the lower door, I didn't remove the door but I removed all items from the door shelves. Loosened the screws, removed the old gasket, then placed the new gasket one corner and worked my way around the... Read more

Took off the freezer door, took off the top hinge on the refrigerator door, replaced the handle, re-installed the top hinge and the freezer door. This is a two person job - one to remove the top hinge and replace the handle, while a second person holds the refrigerator door in place. Replacing the handle was easy. The most irritating part was figuring out what parts to order. The drawing of the refrigerator door (Drawing # 4) used to figure out what parts to order was not clear. I paid $8... Read more
