1 Answer Hi Richard. Are both controls set mid-way only. If it is too cold in the freezer, then turn it back to 1/2 way setting (0°). Look at the back wall of the freezer. I noticed what you have changed. If the defrost heater is open (w/ohm meter), this part # is WP2323198.Please call 1-877-477-7278 A.P.P. Call Center. The control panel and lite doesnt work ,he said it was ok that the fridge is working ,but said I need the air defuser,which I paid 76.80 and 85.00 labor,plus 69.95 service call. What does this part do ,I feel I've been had.

The air diffusser is the air damper assembly that allows a certian amount of air is normally let into the fresh food from the freezer fan assembly.
