Alan January 03, 2013 for Model Number RBD305PRS00 Everything on the control panel of my oven works. The digital display has gotten extremely dim to the point that you have to stand right in front of it almost touching the oven to be able to read the display. What do I need to do? Do I need to replace the control board?
1 Answer Hello Alan. You will need to order and replace the control board WPW10438750 on the unit. You will disconnect the power and remove the doors off the unit. Then remove the side trim. Next remove the screw at the bottom of the control panel and lift off the control panel. Now you can access and replace the board in the unit. Read More...

Norm December 28, 2011 for Model Number rbs305prs00 Several times now after turning on the oven the codes E2-F3 appear and the door locks. The heat will raise and burn up the food. Almost like it is going into "self clean" mode. We have to go to the breaker panel to shut it down. Is this a control board issue? It is a built-in style oven. Thanks
1 Answer Hi Norm. You have what is a open oven sensor part # WPW10131825. Use an ohm meter to check it after you remove the back. As you have the test leads inserted, wiggle the wires to see if the reading is an open or a short. It should ohm out to 1080-1,100 ohms. Thank You. Read More...
