Michael March 12, 2021 for Model Number RBS275PRB00 My oven has started throwing an E2 F3 code. I replaced the temperature sensor, but am still getting the code. I did a visual inspection of the control board, but nothing appeared obviously wrong and all the wiring harnesses were properly seated. I then tried heating the oven to 200 degrees with a thermocouple inside. The oven continued heating to around 450 degrees (as measured by the thermocouple) before throwing the E2 F3 code again. At that time the oven stopped heating and locked the door. I probed the K1 relay on the control board (the only one I could easily measure) and read voltage on both attached leads while the oven was heating, but only one of the leads when the oven threw the fault code. It appears the oven knows the temperature (or at least that it's getting too hot) and is capable of turning the heating elements off, so do you have any suggestions of what might be wrong? Does the control board just need to be replaced?
1 Answer Michael, This issue would be caused by a relay that is welded on the control board in which the control board will need to be replaced. The part number for the control board is WPW10340935. Read More...
Steve September 14, 2020 for Model Number GBD307PDS10 The display is not coming up at all. The buttons make noise when you push them. No error codes displayed. Display is blank.
1 Answer Steve, You will want to remove the control panel and access the WP9760587/8300642 Transformer, Control and carefully check for 120 VAC across the two red wires(power in) then check across the two blue wires for 14-20 VAC(power out) Then, at the control/display board WPW10438751/8302319 Assy, Control connector P16 pins 5 and 7(red wires)check for 120 VAC across the two wires and P16 pins 2 to3(blue wires) check for 14 to 20 VAC across the wires. If you have the voltages, you will need to replace the WPW10438751/8302319 Assy, Control, which is no longer available from the manufacturer and would need to be refurbished by an outside company like, [www.circuitboardmedics.com] or [www.corecentricsolutions.com]. Howard P September 21, 2013 for Model Number RBS245PRS00 My wall oven keeps burning out the control module, W10340935. Every time I try to do the self cleaning. This is the 3rd controller. I have installed. Is there any way to keep this from happening other than manual cleaning?
1 Answer Howard, If the unit burns out the control board every time you put it in a self clean then you may want to look at the installation of the unit. You will want to check to make sure that the flooring inside the cabinet is solid per the installation instructions. The following is the exerpt that explains the support surface: Oven support surface must be solid, level and flush with bottom of cabinet cutout. Floor must be able to support a single oven weight of 123 lbs (55.8 kg) or a double oven weight of 222 lbs (100.7 kg). If these requirements are not met then it will cause an air flow issue that could be causing the control board to burn out from over temp. Read More...
