Bernard November 28, 2018 for Model Number Jennair JGS9900BDS Hi, The Vent Fan On/Off switch on my range went hay wire. Normally, when I press the vent on/off switch, it will go to on low on first press and then on High upon pressing it a second time. Third press of the same button will switch Fan OFF. Now, when I press it once, the display goes to Warming Drawer in orange ( I don't have a warming drawer in my range) and then option for HIGH or LOW. If I press either high or low, the fan turns into a blower (blowing air IN, instead of exhausting out)! Tried to reset the range. It displayed error code EE-214 M-214. Do I need a new control panel or do I need a new Electronic Control Board? Thanks Bernie
1 Answer Bernard, You will need to disconnect the ribbon harness from the control and test the harness on pins 5 and 11. You should have a continuity reading when you press the vent fan button. Any reading under 2000 is a passing reading. If the test passes replace the control, if fails replace the console WPW10206071 Ribbon pins are read from left to right. Read More...
Larry October 31, 2015 for Model Number JES9900BAF19 I have a Jenn-Air white 30" downdraft slide in oven. It is white. The only numbers that work on the touchpad are 7,8,and 9. I believe the model number is JES9900BAF19, but cannot find it on the stove anywhere. I believe I need control panel Wl10206064...is this correct for the white oven? thanks, Larry
1 Answer Hello Larry, If the ribbon cable connections are good, the control panel WPW10206066 will have to be replaced. Read More...
Deb April 24, 2014 for Model Number JES9900BAB I have just purchased a used Jenn-Air black downdraft electric range (JES9900BAB) with a problem. The oven heats, the thermostat registers the temperature, but the heat doesn't turn off. I believe, from searching, that I need to replace the control board (part 74011576, which I understand is now replaced by W10206067). Am I correct that this is the part I need? Can I make this repair myself? Is it a matter of removing a couple of screws, pulling off the old part and seeding the new one in? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Deb, You should first check the resistance of the temperature sensor 12001656. This is the part that tells the control board what temperature the bake compartment is. If it is bad, the board will not receive the proper information. The sensor should read about 1100 ohms at about 70°F. Be sure to tap on the sensor while testing it since it is common to have an intermittent problem. If it reads properly, you should then test the sensor from the control board to make sure there is no harness issue. If it reads the same from the control board end of the harness, the control WP8507P234-60 will have to be replaced. Read More...
Tony K. April 18, 2013 for Model Number JES9900BAB Hi - a couple of buttons on my Jenn Air JES9900BAB seem to not work. I was going to order a Control Assembly unit, but noticed from the pictures that the unit is stainless and our is black. Is this replacement black or stainless?
1 Answer Tony, the part number for your control panel is WPW10206067. This is an all black control panel, we seem to have the incorrect image. I do apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks. Read More...
Sharon December 01, 2011 for Model Number JES9900BAB Hi my the touch pad to my Jenn air range quit working. I purchased the electronic control from you guys--the part that includes the clock, but after installing it, the problem was not fixed. I still had the same issue--the only keys on the touch pad that work are the numbers 7, 8, and 9 and the timers--no oven controls. So is it possible the part I needed was the control panel AP4369766? Also, does it only come in stainless now--no black?
1 Answer Hello Sharon. Yes, it sounds like the control panel WPW10206064 is bad and will need to be replaced. WPW10206064 is the stainless panel. Hope this helps. Read More...
