This auto load sensing water level pressure switch monitors the tub's water level via the air hose and signals the control to start or stop filling. It helps prevent underfilling or overfilling for consistent wash performance. What it does:

  • Senses tub water level through air pressure and communicates with the control/timer
  • Regulates automatic load-size fill by cycling the inlet valve circuit
  • Addresses symptoms such as won't fill, won't stop filling/overfills, underfills, or cycle not advancing due to water-level detection issues
What's included:
  • One load-sensing water level pressure switch
Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and shut off water supply before servicing
  • Access the console/top to release and remove the switch
  • Transfer wire connectors and the pressure hose one at a time; ensure the hose is seated fully and not cracked, kinked, or obstructed
  • Do not adjust any calibration screws; mount in the same orientation and reassemble

Mark for Model Number Kenmore 11029822800

Hi, I have a Kenmore Washer, Model 800 with Auto Load/Water Level Sensing. When the Washer starts the Normal, Casual or Delicate Cycles, it immediately begins Agitation along with Water Filling. However, when I start the Hand Wash cycle, it starts normally with filling and no agitation, then continues as rest of the cycle. I saw in another post that the load sensors switch W10177795/AP4501024 might be bad. But since mine works on the Hand Wash cycle, do you think this is still the issue? Could it be the Timer or Agitation Delay Board? Thanks Much!
