Angelo May 22, 2013 for Model Number GBD307PDB09 I`ve replaced the top oven fan (4455334) only to find out that I figured wrong. I believe I need fan #w10016550. Are these fans supposed to run together no matter which oven you use? Mine do. 99% of the time we use the top,and never figured that the bottom fan was running too. Is it wired wrong? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Angelo. Yes, the fans run when the oven is turned on. These are used to cool the cavity on the unit. Read More...
Paul January 20, 2013 for Model Number Whirlpool GMC305PRB01 Our combo oven has a really bad vibration noise most likely from the blower. Now, it seems to not be working... What to do?
1 Answer Hello Paul, If the blower was vibrating and now is not operational you may want to pull the blower out and check to make sure that there is no build up on it cuasing it to not work. It does sound like it needs to be replaced. Read More...
Ken K November 27, 2012 for Model Number KEBC177 While in the self cleaning mode the oven shut down. I checked the Thermal cut-off (fuse) and it was bad so I purchased a replacement. I had the same fuse replaced a year ago and I believe this is the first time we've run the cleaning mode since the repair a year ago. So is there anything else I should check before installing the new fuse. Should the Cooling Blower run during the self cleaning mode? If it doesn't could that be why it's blowing the fuse. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Ken. Yes, the cooling fan should run during the cleaning cycle. If not, it could be the reason for the fuse blowing in the unit. Read More...
Janet November 08, 2012 for Model Number whirlpool RBS305PDB12 wall oven Our electric went out for 12 hrs, when it came back on our fan/blower on oven kept running. We turn the breaker off for a while but when we turned it back on it still kept blowing, plus if you turned the oven on back it does not heat up! I did find that if you turn on broil that heats up! We just put in a new thermal overload, lower element and a oven sensor, but the fan keeps blowing, again we did the capacity set up and the bake element heated up but the blower still won't shut off even after the oven has been off for a while!! Do you know what it could be? Thank you,
