Steven July 23, 2021 for Model Number KEBC208KSS02 Hi, Are the cooling blower and lower blower interchangeable?
Lee October 26, 2020 for Model Number KEBS278DWH8 The kitchenaid double oven I have is 20 yrs old. Regardless of which oven I operate the same fan starts. I do not hear seperate fans, only one. Per kitchenaid, the p/n for the fan is depected as the one that is listed for the lower fan. Do I assume that is correct, only one fan? Please advise. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Lee, there are 2 cool fans , one for each oven. The upper fan is WP4455334, the lower fan is WPW10016550. One of the fans is not working, you would need to unmount the wall oven and access the rear panel and remove it to access the fans to check, however as a rule of thumb if one fan is worn out both fans are usually recommended to be replaced. Avd February 23, 2020 for Model Number KEMC308KSS01 Probably a dumb question. When I turn on the lower oven, a fan starts but the air is being vented above the microwave unit at the top of unit. I just want to make sure that both lower and upper ovens vent out the very top. We never use the upper oven (in the microwave. I just want to make sure I've ordered the correct blower (lower) because that is the noisy one when we use the lower oven. Thanks
Chum July 05, 2016 for Model Number GMC275PRB00 To avoid waste and wasted money, can't I buy just the bearings for the lower oven blower? The whole assembly does not need to be replaced, and the bearings are easy to install.
Sai March 28, 2016 for Model Number GMC305PDB6 Fan stays on and won't shut off after we ran the oven thru a self cleaning cycle. Now that the fan won't shut off, the oven won't heat up. Please advise. Thanks!
1 Answer Sai, With the issue that you are having with the unit. this would be caused by a stuck relay on the control board which is part number WP4456048. Read More...
Ralph G October 12, 2015 for Model Number KEBS207DBT9 Hi, There are many instructions on how to replace the top blower motor/fan on a double wall oven, but I don't see any on how to replace the lower blower motor (W10016550). The blower seems to be in a spot between the upper and lower ovens. I assume I have to take the oven out of the wall, but how would I access that lower blower fan? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Ralph. You need to remove the oven from the wall and remove the back panel to access and replace the blower motor in the unit. Read More...
