Hello Jerry, the manufacturer has discontinued that control board (W10740220) and it is no longer available, there is no substitute part that will work in its place.

Lights inside the refrigerator or freezer are not working, I check door switch (all) check okay the bulbs ok and the socket light ok the electronic control board (main) has any thing to do with the lights ? Thanks !

JM Leon, The High voltage main board would be the cause for the lights to not work if everything else is working. THe part number will be WPW10312695.

Eric, Yes there is a difference between the control boards, and they are not interchangeable. Though they look identical, the circuitry, peripheral components, and size, etc, will determine the correct control board to be installed on the refrigerator. Either/both control boards are in stock and available at this time. I just received the control board for this fridge. The code is W10312695. I have followed the instructions several times and get the same results. That is using both types of programming instructions. Regardless of what I do? I unplugged the unit and plug it in and it immediately displays PE0 000 there is nothing I can do to get it to respond other than if I push the refrigerator temp up I can get water and if I push the refrigerator temp button down I get ice? I have no idea what to do next. What could potentially be the next step? What am I missing?

Shawnman, when entering into the programming mode, the door alarm key must be pressed and held, then the freezer temperature down key must be pressed and held immediately, followed by immediately releasing the door alarm key once the freezer key is held down. This must be completed in quick succession (complete process is done within a few seconds). Once the letters PE are shown, press the freezer down button one more time to be able to enter the codes.

The aforementioned refrigerator is not running; however, when the doors are opened the internal lights are on. The compressor & compressor fan is not running. The compressor start relay has been checked & is serviceable. The front panel illuminates when the buttons for ice or water are pushed. There is 120 Vac at pin 4 of J1 & 12v DC between another test point that I referenced. Are there any other test points for this CB, which is W10312695 or WPW10312695 to verify that it is U/S, as it is my understanding that I am unable to return electronic components once purchased? Andrew, the cooling-off button can be pressed and held for 3 seconds to ensure that it may not have been pressed and held accidentally. The programming code will also need to be checked to ensure that it matches the code on the model/serial tag (correct if necessary) If this does not get voltage going to the fans and compressor, then the main control WPW10312695 would be the issue.
