The part that the latch fits in will not open enough to fit the latch in. I am afraid if I put too much pressure on the part it will break. Is there a secret way to replace the latch ?
1 Answer Hi Wolly. You will need to disconnect the power to the unit. Then remove the control panel from the unit. On the back of the control panel are two slots that the latch bracket WP8205451 will snap into. Make sure you get the latch positioned correctly, so when the button is pressed, it releases the door.
