Tony June 06, 2016 for Model Number WTW5300VW2 I am getting a loud ratcheting sound from my washer during wash cycle. I have replaced the dogs and holder, Then fill it up and ran it without anything in it and the noise is still there, but it only give that sound on the casual cycle, on the delicate side it's fine. Could the noise be from the gearbox.
1 Answer Tony, With the issue only occurring on the casual cycle and the dogs and holder already being replaced, this will most likely be caused by a issue with the gearcase. Read More...

Phil February 10, 2016 for Model Number LSQ7533JQ0 Type 3 My machine keeps skipping when agitating and checked the dogs, and they're bad. One thing I noticed the upper agitator seems loose and can shift side to side letting the teeth, the dogs engage, be closer to one side than the other. That doesn't seem right. The bolt in the center is tight. What is you take on this and what parts will I need to correct this besides the dog assembly?
1 Answer Phil, The part that you would need is the agitator cam kit 285809 which should take care of this issue. Read More...
Betty January 11, 2016 for Model Number LSQ9010KQ0 I don't think that pulling on the upper and lower agitator is going to work. When I look down in there with a flashlight I see four very white tabs that seem to be locking the cam into place. Will pulling on these two parts break the tabs? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Betty. Sometimes it will break the locking tabs. If it does, it is fine. The bolt secures the agitator. Read More...
Betty January 11, 2016 for Model Number LSQ9010KQ0 CANNOT GET UPPER AND LOWER AGITATOR APART. HAVE TRIED SOAKING IT IN 120 DEGREE HOT WATER. STILL WON'T COME APART. I DID SEE A VIDEO SOMEWHERE AND IT SAID TO BREAK OFF A COUPLE OF FACTORY TABS DOWN INSIDE THE UPPER AGITATOR. WHERE ARE THESE AND IS IT OKAY TO BREAK ANYTHING OFF. THANK YOU
1 Answer Hello Betty. Remove the agitator from the unit. Stand on the base a jerk hard upward. It will come apart. This is the only way to access the tabs. Read More...

Jennifer March 09, 2013 for Model Number SAWS800JQ1 The agitator is is in two parts ~ the top portion of the agitator does not move/agitate anymore. If I put pressure on top of the agitator, it will move back and forth ~ I am assuming like it should. Which parts should I replace and I would need instructions as well. Thanks
1 Answer Jennifer, You probably won't need the clothes mover, your more likely issue is the "dog" and cam assembly kit 285811 and grease 350849. The AP3138838 has a "how to video" attached to the parts diagram and should be very helpful. Read More...
