Hello George. If you can stop the water from entering the machine by turning off the timer or unplugging the unit, you will need to look for a bad pressure hose or replace the pressure switch. If the only way to shut off the water is at the shut off for the water hoses, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit.

Hello Larry. Unplug the unit and remove the top panel off the unit. Now you can access the CCU on the side of the cabinet. Slide the unit down and remove it from the side of the cabinet. Unplug the wires from the old one and install them onto the new part so you do not mix them up. Then install the new CCU into the cabinet of the washer.

My Duet washer would not start in any mode. It had lights for all modes but never would start in any of them. I unplugged unit, plugged it back in and no lights at all, just 3 beeps after hitting power button but no more lite up modes, nothing. I did notice an error code of F70 at one point. I ran the diagnostic test with an 888, c00, u01, u00,c00,n00, then all yellow lights on left side stayed on, then c00 remained on. No F codes at all. Still would only make 3 beeps when trying to power up. I installed the new 2 user interface boards with same results. After reading on other websites, I disconnected the 3 blue wire connection going to the lower MCU board, left it off, hit power and at least the modes light up correctly but indicator light is blinking. Should I replace the MCU board?

Phil, With seeing an F70 code, this would represent a central control unit heartbeat failure. The would be a communication issue between the user interface and the central control unit. With the issue the issue that you have it sounds like it would be the central control unit that is the issue not the motor control unit.

Marco, The F20 error code indicates an issue with the water coming into the washer " F 20 - NO WATER DETECTED ENTERING MACHINE OR PRESSURE SWITCH TRIP NOT DETECTED" Since this happens at the rinse cycle you will need to check and make sure the cold water faucet is open and has plenty of water flow. Check that the fill hose, screen and valve are clean of debris and sediment. then replace the fill valve WPW10156253 if all's Ok.

Chuck, The F71 error code indicates an issue with the UIB and CCU " F71 USER INTERFACE HEARTBEAT FAILURE,If a Central Control Unit Heartbeat Failure is displayed, no communication is detected from the User Interface to the Central Control Unit. Possible Causes/Procedure 1. Check for continuity of the User Interface harness. 2. Check wire harness connections to the User Interface and the Central Control Unit. 3. Replace User Interface if drum is rotating. 4. Replace Central Control Unit if drum is not moving." The parts you may need are W10319816 UIB(user interface board) and WP8183258 CCU. You should be able to find the tech data/information sheet attached to the inside of the lower access panel on the front of the washer, you can conduct the various tests to verify the issues.

Hello John. You need to check the pump for clogs. If it is clogged, the unit will not spin properly. If it is good, either the motor or MCU is bad on the unit.

Kevin, The F25 error code is a drive motor tach error and the F11 is a motor control unit error. This issue would most likely be caused by a bad motor control board WP8183196

Hello Mike. DRIVE MOTOR TACHOMETER ERROR. If the control is unable to properly detect motor speed, the machine shuts down. If a failure occurs during high-speed spin, the door unlocks after 3 minutes. Possible Causes/Procedure 1. Verify that the shipping system, including shipping bolts, spacers, and the power cord, are removed. 2. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 3. Check drive motor tachometer resistance. It should be approx. 115 O. (See wiring diagram) 4. Check wire harness connections between the drive motor and the Motor Control Unit (MCU), and between the MCU and the Central Control Unit (CCU). 5. Plug in washer or reconnect power. 6. Check the MCU by looking for operations of the drive motor. 7. Check the drive motor for powered rotations.
