H.net pschenk, This issue would sound like the icemaker mold has some deterioration to it and you would want to either replace the ice mold or the icemaker assembly.

Felix for Model Number 10655616400

Our ice maker makes the ice and you can see it when you open the door but it wont slide off the ice maker and into the ice holder bin. I have to slide it down by hand each time...do I need to replace entire ice maker or is there something I can adjust? The ice is just dangling on the edge of the ice maker but will not fall on its own into the ice holder bin...once I push it by hand it goes thru its cycle again and does the exact same thing. If I purchase the complete ice maker or whatever part you recommend if it does not fix the issue can I return the part for a full refund? thank you.

Hello Felix. If the cubes are a good size, you will need to order and replace the icemaker on the unit. If it does not fix the issue, you can return the icemaker.

Jim, You will want to pull the icemaker out and take the cover off and check the pins in the center of the large gear. If the pins look pushed together or if one is missing then replace the icemaker module. You will also want to take the motor module off and check for burnt contacts. Also check the continuity of the thermostat, the 2 inner pins and the heater, the 2 outer pins. If either does not have continuity then the part is bad and would need to be replaced.

Donald, You have to kind of pull hard on the icemaker to get it past the fill tube. The fill cup will twist toward the back a little but it will come out.
