Lorenz January 24, 2014 for Model Number kudk03itwh2 We're changing kitchen appliances from white to stainless. Our Kitchenaid dishwasher works fine, so I'm considering replacing the front, currently white, with stainless. Do I have to buy both the door panel and the control panel in order to have a completely SS front, or is this one part? The parts are expensive so replacing both won't be economical. Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Lorenz! Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not offer a kit. You'll need door panel part number W10349340. The stainless model uses a black control panel part number WPW10078105, toe panel part number W10871196, and access panel part number W11763736. Thanks. Read More...
Ralph February 11, 2013 for Model Number KUDS301XBLO F04306990 I have a Kitchen Aid dishwasher and the 4 hour delay and cancel/drain leds are both lit dimly all the time. Whirlpool just sent me a new control assembly, but it did not fix it. It works alright for sometimes a week, sometimes a day, then it won't do anything. If I turn off the breaker for a minute or so, it will then work again for a while. Resetting it does not fix the two dim LEDS, they are always on.
2 Answers Ralph, Based on your post description, you've already eliminated the control board as the issue. That leaves the control panel / keypad assembly WPW10500172 as the culprit. Read More...

Robert C June 10, 2012 for Model Number KUDK03ITWH3 When I replace the control panel AP4262197 due to a blinking light malfunction, do I have to do anything other than remove power to reset the circuit board and controls? Is there a hard reset or diagnostic process? If so, how do I access it and what should I do? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Robert. No, just disconnect the power to the unit for about 15 to 20 minutes to do a reset. Read More...
Robert C. June 08, 2012 for Model Number KUDK03ITWH3 Wash cycle will not start. Regular wash light blinks rapidly when pushed. It can be cancelled only by pushing cancel, whick also blinks rapidly. Rinse light is always on (dim), but goes out when the heat dry is pushed, but goes back on when heat dry is released. Is it this panel or the circuit board?
1 Answer Hello Robert. The rapid blinking button are for a stuck button. It sounds like the control panel WPW10078106 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...
