B March 15, 2016 for Model Number RBD305PDQ8 The other day I found my oven display blank(no clock) and oven did not work either. It's getting power since the buttons beep and the light turns on & off. Get this... 2 days later the display is back on and the oven was working again! My happiness didn't last long as the next morning it was not working again. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thank you for your help.
1 Answer B, We were hoping it would be the control low voltage transformer, but your wall oven doesn't have one. If you don't have a loose connection in the control panel area compartmwnt, the problem would be in the control board 8302967. Thanks Read More...
Amisa January 13, 2016 for Model Number Whirlpool Model:RBD305PDQ12 The broil element in this oven blew up. we replaced the element, but no juice coming to the element. The bake element works fine. 1. Is it possible the control panel on this oven is shorted out? 2. The manufacturer discontinued this control panel. Is there a possible compatible replacement? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Amisa. Yes, it sounds like the control board is bad. This part has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part. Read More...
Bill December 01, 2015 for Model Number Whirlpool GBD277PDT7 I'm trying to remove the control panel and all the connectors have come apart easily except for two, the two large black ones on the left side of the board. Is there some kind of release tab that I need to depress? I'm afraid I might break the board if I try to just muscle it off.
1 Answer Hello Bill. If they have 4 wires in each connector, these can be tight. You can use a flat blade screwdriver and pry from under the connector to remove it. Read More...
David P September 28, 2015 for Model Number RBD245PDB9 Our control board went blank(out). What board would we want to order. It said the original is no longer available.
1 Answer David, You will want to test the thermal fuse in the unit which is part number WPW10638608 for continuity. If this checks ok then test the transformer that goes to the control board WP9760587. If the transformer checks ok then the control board would be the issue but would not be available from any source that we could advise of. Read More...

Paul April 24, 2014 for Model Number RBD305PDB12 I have a Model RBD305PDB12 whirlpool double wall oven. I got some error coded and you helped me to identify that I needed a new control board. However the control board is not available so I had to take mine out and send it to a remanufacturer. I got it back and replaced it. But when I reset the breaker I received a new error code F1 E2 I looked on the tech sheet you sent me and found out that the key pad was not attached. I attached the keypad the display now shows the time and three of the buttons work but none other. What do I do now?
