Daniel, The control board is a good place to start, and a likely suspect. If the motor relay is "stuck" on the control board, the motor will continue to run. You didn't mention if the unit drained ? Good Luck.

Hello Jan! It could be either the control panel or the electronic board. The control panel sends the signal to the electronic board, and if shorting out could send false signals. On the electronic board, there has been a series change and we will need the serial number to verify the correct part number. For the control panel, your part number is 6-917726. If your purchase an item and it does not fix the issue you may return the part at any time. Here is our return policy information for you to view, thanks! http://www.appliancepartspros.com/customerservice/returns.aspx

Hello Scott. You will need to test and see if there is power coming to the control board. If so, and the control board does not work, you will need to replace the control board. According to the serial number you provided, 12002709 is the correct control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
