Hello CJ. The unit was manufactured in June of 2005. You will pull out the tabs on the side of the connector on the control board 12002709. Then you can pull the ribbon cable out of the connector. Hope this helps.

Hi Dixie. Remove power. Remove inner door panel. Remove control board cover. UNhook the control board wires. Use a small screwdriver to release tangs holding the panel on to the mount assy. Rewire board and make sure all connections are tight. Also ground youself out to remove static before and during installing new board. Carefully touch the board as little as possible. Part # 882699. Thank You.

Tim for Model Number Model # ADB2500AWS Serial # 329048i4JG

I'm responding back to a question I sent in earlier. Here is your original response. Hi Tim. There is a tech. sheet in behind either the front panel or behind the toe kick plate. Use this to put the unit in a diagnostic mode and it will give a code to the "area" where the issue lies. From what you describe, it could be the keypad part # AP4364244. But the control board is part # []. We will require the serial # to determine which board is yours. Thank you. My Serial # is 329048i4JG. Thanks, Tim.

Sig M. for Model Number ADB2500AWQ

I replaced the door latch(per your instructions). Now, IF the washer runs, it will only run on the Normal wash cycle. At times it will, by itself, go into the Rinse cycle (without my pressing any buttons). Per your instructions, I opened the inner panel and checked for loose wires but found none. I was wondering if I possibly reversed the two plugs that go to the latch. Or possibly reversed EITHER of the plugs since each plug has two leads.. Could you send me a specific picture of which plug goes to the proper lead on the latch. And how each plug should go to it's specific lead. A detailed picture showing each lead(by color if possible) would be appreciated. Thank You Sig M.

Hello Sig. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the door latch is ok, and you will need to replace the control panel 6-919804. Check and make sure the ribbon cable is seated good on the control board, and is clean and dry. If so, you will need to replace the control panel. Hope this helps.

Sig for Model Number ADB2500AWQ

I replaced the door latch because it stuck in the closed position. Now at times the dishwasher goes into a Rinse cycle and I cannot cancel it. And also, when the washer starts for a normal cycle, I cannot cancel the operation and must wait for a complete cycle to finish.. I even cut the power but this didn't terminate the cycle. Now the only cycle that works is the normal cycle. When this cycle completes, the Sanitized & Clean lights come on but will eventually go off even though the door wasn't opened. So if I run it overnight, I don't really know if it completed properly. Is there a possibility of a loose wire to the control board causing this erratic behavior?

Hello Sig. You will need to look for loose or broken wires. If they are good, you will need to replace the control panel 6-919804. Hope this helps.

Anthony, Are you saying the dishwasher continues to cycle and run, unless you open the door for 30 seconds or more ? If thats the case, you have a "stuck" button on the control panel / keypad assembly 6-917707. If the unit stops running and the clean light stays on thats normal. Thanks
