1 Answer Tony, This issue would be either the control board WPW10218838 or the keypad W10197307 on the unit. You will want to remove the kickplate of the unit and on the backside there should be a tech sheet which will give you a test for the keypad in which if the keypad checks ok then the control board would be ok. 1 Answer Hello Dave. You will need to test and see if there is power coming to the control board. If so, replace the board. If not, then there is a power supply issue. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Pete S November 25, 2012 for Model Number mdb7851aws dishwasher doesn't drain all the way I replaced the drain pump,no change, inspected drain lines they are clear,ran the drain line into bucket ,gets a good stream for two cycles but when it is done washing still tub is still about half or more with water during the other cycles it empties all the way could the control panel be bad
1 Answer Pete, It's not likely a control board issue. The average drain cycle is approximately two(2) minutes long. You could time it if need be. The most likely issue could be the drain baffle WP6-919119. If the four(4) baffles are not straight, the drain pump cavitates and the drain pump cannot move the drain water properly. Read More...
