Tzvi July 27, 2011 for Model Number KUDSO1ILWH1 I recently had a probelem with the dishwasher (I stopped in mid cycle)and as suggested I replaced the fuse. Everything worked ok for awhile. Then the same thing happened and I again replaced the fuse. But I also noticed that the screw sockets on the front panel (the face of the dishwasher with all the buttons and lights)were broken and would not hold the screws. So I ordered that and replaced it. Now when I press one of the cycle buttons (doesn't matter which one) all I get is the 2 horizontal lines in the time remaining window but they don't spin as they used to and nothing happens. Thanks.
1 Answer Hi Tzvi. You need ro replace the door switch awssembly part # is EBF49827801. It probably got broken also with the control panel. Follow your installation instructions to insure your unit is level. This may stop all breaking issues in the future. Thank you. Read More...

1 Answer Hi Paul. The dishwasher fuse kit Is part # 8193762. The electronic control board # is WP8564543. The control board # WP8564543 says that some versions came with a P-4 connector, it is no longer needed. Did you also check to see if the drain hose will pump into a bucket to make sure that the pump is not vapor locked or clogged? Is the plumbing connection under the sink clear? The --- lines mean you lost connection between the control panel and your control board. We will need the last 2 digits of your model # to get the correct part/ color and series of your unit. Please insure your ribbon cable is plugged in tightly. Thank you. Read More...
Madmartin July 16, 2011 for Model Number GU1500XTKT0 The unit will not run. The Rinse light is on and the display has two short horizontal lines. I have cleared the indications by turning off the breaker for an extended period of time. But the unit will not operate in quick cycle or rinse only mode. When started in other modes, it starts but will not complete the cycle.
1 Answer Hi Madmartin. The electronic control board needs replaced, this part # is WP8564543. Make sure you also replace the fuse kit to the control board also. It is part # 8193762. Thank you. Read More...
John June 21, 2011 for Model Number GU1500XTLB2 My dishwasher stopped working a couple of weeks ago. Only the cancel function would work and I had no other lights other than the 2 and 1 on the display as the unit went through the cancel function. I replaced the control card #AP3775964 and the unit seemed to work OK again. After a couple of washes, I noted that it would only work on a couple of Sensing Wash Cycles ( china crystal and rinse only ) and then none at all. After pressing buttons repeatedly for a few minutes, eventually I got it to where "1H" was displayed. By pressing the cancel button a number of times eventually the display goes beyond "10", and then the unit will work on any sensing wash cycle. The next time you try to run the unit, it seems dead again. Only the cancel mode works. By pressing various buttons again repeatedly, you can eventually get it to work for the next wash. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
1 Answer Hello John. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control panel WP8534839 is bad and will need to be replaced. If some of the buttons are non responsive, this is due to a bad control panel. Hope this helps. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Sully! Is the water entering the tub 120 degrees? If not, this can cause the dishwasher to continously run until the dishwasher senses the water is at the correct degrees. Thanks! Read More...
Sully June 14, 2011 for Model Number GU1200XTLS0 The washer gets stuck in the rinse cycle for hours or until I push the cancel button. Do I need a new control board? Thanks, Sully.
Maggie June 13, 2011 for Model Number GU2300XTLQ1 My dishwasher started making load sounds but still working, since few days ago it stopped working, I called Whirlpool service (waste of $90) the guy came and told the panel needs to be changed then we can see if motor works or not! (a repair from $170 to $500) Now I don't know, either enter this unknown repair program, or go for another junk one in the market? I decided to look for the panel and try changing it myself at least it's another 100. Any help in this regard that what part I need or is there a package everything included?
1 Answer Hello Maggie. You can test the motor and see if it is good. The run windings should read around 3.7 ohms, and the auxillary windings should read 6.25 ohms. If the motor test good, then the board WP8564543 should fix the problem. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Dave June 10, 2011 for Model Number KUDI01FLSS3 All the traces leading to the relays and their associated connectors burned off the control board and nearly caused a fire. Is there anything else I should check before simply replacing the board? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Dave. Check and make there are no burnt or broke wires grounding to metal. Also check the heater and make sure it is good. If everything looks good, you should be fine replacing the electronic control assembly WP8564543. Read More...
